Future Day, a silly holiday I hold dear, is coming up next Wednesday. It’s an easy holiday to celebrate virtually. (Given it is usually middle of the work week, and the topics of celebration, it’s kind of naturally celebrated virtually.) This year feels like more reason to celebrate it than less.

To celebrate is easy: order Pizza Hut and a Pepsi, watch all three parts to Back to the Future, contemplate the Future we already live in. (Per Gibson’s Law “The future is already here, it is just unevenly distributed.”)

If anyone wants to synchronize watches with me, let me know and we’ll work out the technology to do that, because here we are in the future (and it’s bright, at least for coordinating watches in October 2020.)
