Passenger trains (US 😿)
Today Indianapolis' Union Station is a "rustic" Crowne Plaza Hotel. I always find it a depressing reminder of passenger train lines this country built and then let rot.
I turned a corner I don't regularly turn when I'm in the building and discovered a tiny exhibit for one of the last passenger trains that pased through the building (the National Limited, ain't that a metaphor) which Congress killed (via Amtrak) DURING the 70s oil crisis. WTAF?! Depression becomes Anger
